Because The Trish Franks School of Riding for many years has been known for it’s excellent care and condition of their lesson and client horses.
Stalls are cleaned twice daily, fresh bedding, clean buckets and fresh water twice daily, salt or mineral blocks, grain twice daily (or more for an additional fee) and excellent quality of hay shipped in bi-weekly from local or mid-west vendors. We do keep several types of hay in our barns for those horses that need different hay for different reasons. Horses get daily turnout in paddocks during nice weather and horses are kept in during inclement weather unless there is a need to give the stalled horses more turnout and activity. Injured horses on stall rest are given prescriptions through their vets for the horse to be hand walked and several of these services can be obtained for a small fee. Blanketing is part of your stall rate.
We also carry Insurance to cover your horse in case of injury in the paddock, damage to facility or to another horse., transportation to approved events and fire. Our insurance does not cover Mortality or Major Medical that is individually acquired through the client.
