The following form uses an E-signature which is the digital equivalent of a handwritten signature or stamped seal. According to the U.S. Federal ESIGN Act passed in 2000, an electronic signature is an “electronic sound, symbol, or process, attached to or logically associated with a contract or other record and executed or adopted by a person with the intent to sign the record.” In layman’s terms, an electronic signature, often referred to as an e-signature, is a person’s electronic expression of his or her agreement to the terms of a particular document. Dear Families and Students of The Trish Franks School of Riding, LLC,
Congratulations! You have chosen a wonderful, rewarding sport for your child. There are proven benefits that horseback riding will bring to your child and family. Our school strives on Safety, Experienced Instructors in all disciplines of Riding, and excellent lesson horses and ponies.
If you are scheduling lessons please complete and email back to our website before you arrive for your first lesson. With the growth of an additional location this year we require all necessary paperwork prior to your first lesson so that we may focus on your Riding time and less paperwork.
When you schedule your lesson and have had a discussion with myself or your assigned instructor please ask any questions that you might have. Email is the best way to correspond with each of us.
All Make Up Lessons Must Be Made Up With In 30 Days Of The Cancelled Class
We provide certified safety helmets in adjustable sizes but recommend that if you intend to make this long term, please have a helmet fitted by one of our local saddle shops. Additionally a requirement is a boot with a heel. English riders cannot ride in Western boots so a boot called PADDOCK boots or a beginner Riding Package can be purchased online through our Tack Shop which you will find in our natchezbend.com website.
I strongly recommend tightly fitted black gloves for those tender hands. Pants or riding pants/tights are comfortable. Children can also wear half chaps for added comfort and security in the saddle. The sport is expensive enough so we have created our own TACK SHOP to offer merchandise at a lower price.
A few things I’ve learned over the last 45 years is spend your money on lessons, and with professionals that are insured, highly certified and experienced. I still do that for myself and my grown children so that we are always updated of new training techniques. The selection you’ve made of our program prides itself on quality horses and ponies that have miles of experience yet they take students to the show ring on a regular basis. I’m excited that you will share in our passion! See you at the ring or on the trail!
Kindly sign the bottom of this sheet to let us know you have recieved it (click on blue arrow and signature box will open),

We have provided for your convenience a list of phone numbers and duties of our professionals. Because we love our busy horse jobs and are usually in a lesson or on a horse, (or a meeting), the most effective way that I personally have come to find very effective is to text first, identify yourself and a short message. If urgent, state urgency and we will call you right back. If not urgent we will return the call at our first opportunity.
Communication (go to contact page of website for full list of lesson & barn contacts) with our families is important and necessary because we have many moving parts. A couple of suggestions: Some of us field calls more than others. Some of our professionals have other professions and can’t be immediately available. Please be respectful of the time of your voice calls or text after hours, we do try to have some normality in our lives. We respect Sundays as intended to be our day of rest, however it is occasionally needed to schedule make-up lessons and this is entirely up to your instructor and yourself. Everyone on our coaching team check emails regularly and some return emails late at night. However if you have a concern that needs addressing, you call us right away. My phone is available for emergency of student or horse 24/7.
First Time Students (Non Toddler): We require a 4 class minimum for new students. First classes are for evaluation, finding the best teacher and horse for the new student and thats best done over a few sessions. This helps us eliminate non serious riders from taking a class because they have a free afternoon.
Cancellation of Lessons: Do not leave class cancellation notices on email unless it is in advance. If you are canceling for that day we might not have the opportunity to get that message therefore everything is ready for your lesson and you aren’t able to make it. We require in writing (email) or text your cancellation. WE DO ABIDE BY OUR CANCELLATION NOTICE.
Scheduling: Our liaisons of both locations will contact you and assign and recommend the instructor that best fits your needs. At that time your instructor will contact you to schedule. Any changes in schedule should be done directly with the instructor and if a makeup is needed it will be arranged through your instructor as well. On occasion we as instructors get ill or have some last minute incident that can’t be helped but we will always make sure that you are scheduled with a substitute or a makeup. Our substitute instructors would be another coach on our team.
